With the Missouri Legislative session in its final week, Republicans are furiously attempting to ram through another misguided bill intended to suppress voter turnout in November. Their latest effort to require photo IDs for all voters will potentially disenfranchise 240,000 registered Missouri voters despite the fact that no cases of voter impersonation exist in Missouri. Among those whose rights could be denied by the bill are thousands of seniors, minorities, married women and rural voters who might not have access to the documents required by this bill.
